Fridayyyy… fun day?

So, yay, it’s the weekend! But it isn’t, because I have drill. Five more days! Two more drills! I can do this. (And I’m doing it this weekend with purple fingernail polish because I don’t have acetone to take off my gel manicure. Whoopsie?)

I made an awesome dinner. 

I might get called in on Monday, which is my Regular Day Off. Boo. I mean, still the easiest September of budget-job record, but still. Day off! For shopping!

Pictures to follow from last weekend’s citified photo expedition. He photoshopped my freckles, but wouldn’t whiten my teeth. Pssh.

I’m going to watch Fringe, drink some wine, and maybe have another Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate Brownie, and pretend like I’m not going to have a pretend hurricane drill tomorrow morning.

We declared marinated lamb chops a winner. So easy (when you remember to marinate the night before)! So delicious! 

(And I am beginning to lend credence to the theory that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.)

(He’ll disregard/forget I said that.)

We’re trying to get more artsy together, so I bought a pair of Holga cameras so we can play around with multiple exposures & vignetting. I couldn’t resist the Casablanco Holgawood camera, and he’d added the rotating color flash to his wish list. We’re hoping Hurricane Isaac’s leftovers don’t ruin our weekend plans.
