How good are you at remembering your birth control?

a) I don’t take the pill because I would be incapable of remembering to take it at the same time every day. It would not happen.

b) I was on the Depo shot before, which is super amazing if the hormone dosage is right for you.

c) I’m on the Nuvaring now. You just change it once every four weeks. (Or, remove it after three and replace after four… If you like periods. Whatever.) 

I can’t understand people who have hard birth control. The repercussions are way too severe. Also, if you don’t use hormonal birth control the same way all the time, every time, aren’t your hormones driving you crazy? My hormones are crazy.

As it happens, I was thinking the same thing as the ESPN blogger who was mentioned in the Jezebel piece… If someone gets a gold medal for playing ping pong, someone should totally get a gold medal for this. It mostly looks like gymnastics, but harder.

Must find a new gym ASAP.
